1. Is the Zurbarán Rock Burgos festival really free?
Yes.
The Zurbarán Rock Burgos festival is a totally free event, for people who want to enjoy 2 days of good music and the best atmosphere.
2. Do I have to get a ticket/ticket or reserve my place?
No.
Zurbarán Rock Burgos takes place in the Parque de San Agustín. An open space, in the open air, with no restrictions on access, so the only thing necessary is that you arrive with the desire to enjoy yourself.
3. Is it an accessible space?
Yes.
It is a square free of architectural barriers, and a platform for people with reduced mobility is installed, in a good location, from which to enjoy the concerts.
4. Can minors have access?
Yes, and we love to see that the new generations enjoy Heavy Metal.
5. Will I be able to buy food and drink?
Yes, and also at popular prices.
The festival organisers have set up a food and beverage bar, with popular prices, for the enjoyment of those attending the festival, and to help finance the very high costs of organising an event of the characteristics of Zurbarán Rock Burgos. Therefore, we ask you to understand the situation and to consume the products of this bar.
6. I have coeliac disease, diabetes, my diet is vegan, will I have options for myself?
Yes.
They sell gluten-free beer, sugar-free soft drinks, water and there is always at least one vegan and gluten-free option among the bar food options.
7. What is the payment system of the festival?
There will be points where you will be able to exchange your money for festival money.
They will be tokens called ‘Zurbis’, whose value will be €2, divisible into 2 halves of €1. You will be able to buy the amount you want at any time, from €1 (minimum consumption price of a bottle of water), to as much as you want, paying both in cash and by credit card.
The ‘Zurbis’ will be valid for the 2 days of the festival, but will not be exchanged for money at any time.
8. What is the cup system?
Se usarán vasos reutilizables, con fianza de 1€.
Together with the glass, a ticket will be given, which must be returned together with the glass, to recover the € deposit, at the points set up for this purpose.
The ‘Zurbis’ will be valid for the 2 days of the festival, but will not be exchanged for money at any time.
9. Where can I buy the cool official T-shirt of Zurbarán Rock Burgos, and contribute to the financing of the festival with it?
On Friday at 18:00 at the start of the festival, merchandise will be on sale at the official Merchan stand, set up, like last year, in the bar area and next to the Valdorrock stage.
Other official merchandise will also be available.
10. Will there be a market area?
Yes.
It will be installed in the same area as the 2023 edition. In the square next to the festival itself.
11. Are toilets available for free use?
Yes.
Multiple chemical toilets will be installed to serve all festival-goers.
12. How is it possible to organise a festival like Zurbarán Rock Burgos, FREE of charge, without any kind of entrance fee for those who attend?
This is possible thanks to the voluntary work of a group of friends, Heavy Metal lovers, united through a non-profit association, Metal Castellae.
For this they have the support of administrations, entities and companies, which appear among the sponsors. From the section of the Metal Castellae Association, Peña Blusas del Metal, who work and support events throughout the year, to generate resources that facilitate the payment of the festival. And of course, thanks to people like you, who are reading this, who support us from anywhere in the world, who believe in Zurbarán Rock Burgos, and show it with their impeccable behaviour, and responsibility, consuming at our stands, buying our merchandise, sharing our publications and having a great time, forming that great community of thousands of ‘Zurbaraners’ around the world.
